My name is Lana Utnasunova, founder of Velora Financial
My entrepreneurial journey began long before I opened my first successful business. I came to the United States with a dream, limited English, and a determination to build a better future through hard work and persistence.
Like many immigrants, I started from the beginning. I worked in the hospitality industry while improving my English and learning how business works in the United States. Along the way, I launched several small business ideas—from a cleaning service to a jewelry brand and an eyelash business. Not every venture succeeded, but each one taught me valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, resilience, and leadership.
Those experiences eventually led me to the beauty industry, where I became a business owner and helped grow successful companies. Through that journey, I realized that behind every successful business is strong financial organization, strategic planning, and the right professional support.
That realization inspired me to create Velora Financial.
Today, Velora Financial helps entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate the challenges of starting, managing, and growing their companies. We provide business consulting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, business formation, and strategic guidance—helping business owners build strong foundations for long-term success.
